As we head into the middle of the summer (said in mandatory Meek Mill voice), we’ve seen wild NBA moves, stacked UFC cards, and football futures props hit the board.

Basketball certainly delivered this week during the heat on the East Coast. Since we last spoke, T.J. McConnell and the Pacers fought hard in Game 7 without Tyrese Haliburton, but OKC was too much.

There were roughly just 24 hours between the Thunder’s championship parade and the NBA draft, which brought us head-scratching trades, Danny Wolf's brother becoming a generation meme, and plenty of emotional moments for draftees and their families.

Between the entire league adding new players and a few superstars finding new homes, the entire dynamic of the NBA has changed in a matter of days. Next up: A Giannis decision? 🤔

The WNBA stayed busy, too.

T.J.’s sister, Megan McConnell, was waived by the Phoenix Mercury, while Caitlin Clark struggled with shooting woes and injuries.

Could Indiana add McConnell for depth? Clark was confirmed out for Friday’s game earlier this afternoon.

And if you’re keeping track at home, Angel Reese has made three of her last four first-shot attempts. She’s on a heater!
