Welcome back, Props fam!

I don’t know too many people named Scottie. I know a few Scotts, but the only Scottie in my life is Scheffler.

He’s always such a pivotal decision point in the betting markets and when playing daily fantasy sports. Like most of you, I don’t personally know him, but we certainly have a love-hate relationship. The thing is, Scottie doesn’t know.

Remember that ridiculous pop-punk song in the early 2000s regarding someone named Scottie and a girl named Fiona? Yes, that’s the reference I’m making. And if you don’t get it, bear with me.

We can’t be certain that song was written about Scottie Scheffler (joking, obviously), but if so, it’s safe to say he’s better without Fiona.

Anyway, Scottie doesn’t know…doesn’t know how to have a bad tournament, let alone a mediocre one. His worst is typically everyone else’s 90th percentile outcome.

This guy just nonchalantly made his way to the top of The Open leaderboard on Friday with a casual 64, and suddenly, FanDuel Sportsbook has him at -190 (!!!!) to win. Reminder – it’s only the second round, and there are three other guys within two strokes of him. That’s an insane number, and it speaks loudly about how damn good he is.

How much longer does he have to dominate before he enters one of the golf GOAT conversations? Maybe he’s already squarely in the discussion.

It’s probably better off left for a friendly debate over a cold beverage with some friends this weekend, and by beverage I mean iced coffee – these 1 a.m. ET tee times are killing me!
